Google Updates The Play Store, Making it Simpler to Manage Apps

Google is introducing a slight but significant update to the Play Store, adding in a refreshed My Apps screen that tends to make it much less difficult to manage almost everything you have installed.

With all the new layout, there is an Updates tab which shows you which updates are available, an Installed tab that lists everything in your device, a Library tab that shows anything you have ever downloaded, along with a Beta tab. That Updates tab also now adds in an Update All button so you don’t have to individually tap just about every single app to be able to install an update, or, for those who favor, you could just tap the Update button on each app.

The Installed page also now makes it possible for you to sort apps in a few distinct techniques, like alphabetically, by the last time it was updated, by the last time you applied it, or by size. Size is obviously beneficial after you want to clear up space, but “last made use of “ is genuinely helpful for finding and deleting any ancient apps buried away that you simply could have forgotten about. You must see the update by now, but if not it will show up shortly.
