KCC Slashes Milk Prices by Sh. 10

The New Kenya Co-operative Creameries (KCC) has announced that there will be a price reduction in their 500ml milk pack. The company has slashed the price by 10 shillings which translate to 16.67% reduction.

The KCC 500ml milk pack has been retailing at sh. 60 in most of the shops in Nairobi and it will now be available for sh. 50.

The price cut has been influenced by a moderate increase in milk supply which has gone up by about 20%. This has been an increase in milk production due to the onset of rains in most areas in the country.

Expect to see the price change in supermarkets and majority of the shops as from June 1.
