NTSA Introduces Third License Sticker

Vehicles registered from the 1st of July 2017 will be required to display an additional Third license sticker. This is according to a notice published by the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) on May 29, 2017.

The third license sticker will be placed on the windscreen of your vehicle. The details on the sticker will be the motor vehicle registration number, ownership, chassis number and make.

The sticker will be a requirement for all new and second-hand motor vehicles and will cost sh. 700. NTSA says that the sticker is automatically destroyed when removed or tampered with for security purposes.

The stickers will be provided on the Transport Integrated Management System (TIMS). If you have any enquires regarding the third license sticker you can email them on tims.support@ntsa.go.ke.
